Penang top tips

I’m going to move to penang soon. Going to miss all things KL and the people here. Yesterday I went to penang to have a look at the house i’m going to rent. Thanks star star and princess vianna for helping me avoid me killing myself and dem on the road and the company. Everything looks pretty good at the moment, nice house, a job, and good friends. Looks like all that is missing is a wife and a pet dog.

If u want to move to penang, its a beautiful city i would say, but some of the more intricate aspects of the society are unknown to a non-local. So as a community service, i would like to present some of TIM’s TOP TIPS.

Here i have made 5 top tips to survive and enjoy a good life in penang.

1. Speak hokkien. Whatever you are going to buy from a chinese shop, speak hokkien. if you don’t you are going to get some shitty not so good bargain.

2. When in rome, do as the romans do. when in penang, drive like the hulk penangites.

3. Penang Char Koay Teow is not good in every stall in penang. some are good, some are horrible, just like everywhere else.

4. Gurney is for tourists, not for everyday meals.

5. Speak HOCCCKIEN!! or u gonna die.. like me.
